Author Event

Over the weekend, George Yard Shopping Centre in Braintree, played host to the first Meet Essex’s Amazing Author Event, which included three of Austin Macauley’s Authors, Carley-Ann Osborn (myself), TG Trouper and Aki Mckenzi. 

It was a coming together of some of Essex’s amazing Authors, with a collection of wide variety of genres, celebrating all things book!

Our authors had the opportunity to read their favourite extracts from their works, as well as talking about their inspirations, the aspirations and their motivations to continue doing what they were doing. We then opened up the floor for the general pubic to ask them anything they liked, challenging our authors with on the spot questions about themselves and their individual journeys. 

Additionally, the general public got to meet and talk one on one with our talented authors throughout the day, and were persuaded to sign the odd book or two, hopefully sparking a whole new generation of talent. 

It was such a success, that we are already planning the next one for 2025! We urge anyone interested to keep an eye on their social media for future updates.
